What ingredients are in our food and why have we chosen them? (Composition)

Fresh horse muscle meat
Dogs need proteins to build and maintain their organs and muscles and for their enzymes to function properly. Meat is a good source of protein because it contains all the essential amino acids in the right proportions and thus has a high biological quality. In addition, meat contains iron, zinc, selenium, and B vitamins.

Fresh horse heart
Fresh horse heart mainly consists of muscle, i.e. meat. It is very rich in protein without containing much fat. It provides high quality biotin and potassium.

Fresh breastbones
Every B.A.R.F. recipe includes finely ground fresh breastbones. These contain important, natural calcium, iron, valuable fatty acids, and enzymes.

Horse Stomach
Horse stomach provides healthy nutrients and supports intestinal flora.

Freeze-dried horse liver
Freeze-dried horse liver is particularly nutritious because it contains a lot of iron and numerous vitamins (A, B 2, B 12, biotin, etc.). The gentle freeze drying process preserves heat-sensitive vitamins.

Fresh horse kidneys
Fresh horse kidneys are particularly rich in protein but contain little fat. They contain lots of sodium, vitamin B12, and biotin.

Fresh untreated apples
Fresh untreated apples straight from the farmer provide pectin, vitamin C, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, and sodium.

Fresh untreated pears
Fresh untreated pears straight from the farmer contain vitamin C and B vitamins, as well as lots of potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, zinc, copper, iron, and iodine.

Beetroots and carrots
Beetroots and carrots supply many vitamins and minerals (especially potassium). The saponins and flavonoids they contain stimulate appetite and aid digestion.

Sunflower oil
High-quality cold-pressed sunflower oil is a source of vitamin E, linolenic acid, and alpha-linolenic acid, as well as essential fatty acids.

Blueberries are primarily a source of manganese and copper, but also contain vitamin C, carotene, iron, potassium, sodium, B vitamins, and anthocyanins.

Cod liver oil
Cod liver oil is primarily a source of vitamin D, but also contains a high proportion of vitamins A and E and is rich in iodine and omega-3 fatty acids.

Salmon oil
Salmon oil provides essential fatty acids and provides a balanced ratio of omega-6 to omega-3.

Algal lime and seaweed meal
Algal lime and seaweed meal are important sources of minerals (magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, and iodine).
